As part of child health surveillance, we provide regular checks (such as 6 week baby check) for young children, and closely liaise with the Health Visitor to screen for any potential developmental problems.
Childhood immunisations
A letter regarding your child’s immunisations will be sent to you direct from the child health team. It is important that you call the practice to arrange an appointment for these vaccinations as soon as you receive the letter as these vaccinations need to be given at specific times in your child’s development (8, 12, and 16 weeks).
