As healthcare professionals we can issue MED3’s – otherwise known as Fit Notes to patients. These evidence the advice you have been given about your fitness for work.
These can be for being signed off work after self-certifying for 7 days or to highlight you are able to work with certain amendments to your working environment, for example amended hours or workplace adaptations. This allows your employer to consider ways to help your return to work.
To request a Fit note or extension to one, please complete the Med3 section on e-consult and this will be passed to the doctors.
