Following your appointment with Highlands Surgery, you may have been asked to have some investigations done.
Results of those tests we have requested at Highlands Surgery in general are available after 5 days.
You may be informed specifically with some tests that they will be longer by the clinician.
These results will be available on the NHS App or SystmOnline/Airmid App, so there is no need to contact the surgery regarding this.
Abnormal results needing action are identified by our clinicians and you will be contacted by Highlands Surgery.
Test Results Arranged Outside of Highlands Surgery
Results for investigations arranged by the hospital or a clinician outside of the surgery, please contact the requesting hospital or clinician to obtain these results, not through the surgery.
If you have any issues in doing so you should contact the hospitals complaint line known as PALS – Patient Advice and Liaison Service.
